A creative writing class in junior high sparked Laura Daleo’s passion for storytelling, inspired further by the legendary Anne Rice. Now the author of nine books, Laura blends supernatural elements with high-stakes suspense, from deep-rooted vampire lore to sci-fi thrillers like The Doll and urban fantasy such as The Wolf Experiment, her latest release.

Outside of writing, she’s an artist, dog lover, and dedicated advocate for the indie author community. Originally from San Diego, Laura now resides in Tucson, Arizona, with her two dogs, Rose and Cooper. When she isn't reimagining the shadows of the modern world, she can usually be found with a Starbucks coffee in hand.
